One of the pieces in the RBI Freedman Collection by Weyse is his “Ouverture af Macbeth.” It was published sometime in the 1870s by Lose and is a condensed piano score based on Weyse's own Macbeth (1817). In this piano reduction, Weyse maintains the overall harmony and rhythms from the full orchestration of the overture, which is found in an original manuscript.
