Searching the Library Catalog by Subject
To locate books about a specific person or topic, use the Subject Search in the OPAL Library Catalog. Each book has been tagged with specific subject headings that describe its content.
A wide variety of subject headings are useful in locating materials related to keyboard instruments (use the same sub-headings for organ).

It is also possible to search for related books that discuss a particular country or time period. Typically, these will be listed under the terms Piano Music, Organ Music etc.. followed by a term describing the time period (19th century) or country (Austria):
