Library Policies

Conditions of Entry

All Baldwin Wallace University students, staff, faculty and administrators have access to Ritter Library. Library staff may request to see a current university identification card.

All other persons wishing to use Ritter Library's facilities must meet the following requirements:

Upon entering the library, guests must sign the guest register at the Information Desk, supplying complete address, and a specific reason for using Ritter Library. Proper identification with current address must be shown, e.g., a driver's license or photo-bearing identification card from another academic institution. When exiting, guests must stop at the Information Desk to sign out.

Ritter Library reserves the right to minimize access to visitors at our discretion and to prohibit access to the library to any individual who fails to comply with the policies of the library or Baldwin Wallace University.
