Remote access to library resources is not available to Baldwin Wallace University's Emeriti, Affiliate, Retired Faculty or Retired Staff members. Remote access to library resources occurs because Information Technology (IT) allows current students and currently employed individuals' usernames and passwords to secure campus networks. Email addresses are not a factor and do not guarantee access to library resources. Further, our vendor contracts stipulate that use of library resources are restricted to authorized users [defined as currently employed individuals or individuals granted network access by the institution (i.e. students)].
All library resources are provided for educational purposes only; vendors stipulate that no resource may be used for commercial gain.
Ritter Library provides in-person access to library access to Emeriti, Affiliate, Retired Faculty members and Retired Staff members by appointment only, based on the availability of the professional librarians. This access is limited to OhioLINK and locally subscribed databases. Appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Librarians reserve the right to limit appointments to ensure priority is given to students and current faculty.
