The University Archives is the repository for historical materials relating to the history of Baldwin Institute, Baldwin University, German Wallace College, Baldwin-Wallace College, and Baldwin Wallace University. The responsibility of the Archives is to protect, preserve, and promote the historical legacy of Baldwin Wallace University through the organization, documentation, and curation of materials. The University Archives are open to all students, staff, alumni, and the public with an appointment.

Collection Guidelines of the University Archives

The parameters of collection criteria are soft by design, though the one constant is that the subject matter must relate to the history of the University. Tangentially related materials will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Areas of interest include academia, sports, faculty, Berea, student life, any other artifacts relevant to the University’s history. Materials may take any form including photographic, audio/visual, three-dimensional, art, documentation, and publications.
