old Remote Library Services for Online Learning: Interlibrary Loan

This guide offers links and answers questions for the online learning shift taking place in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Requesting materials from other libraries

You may want to access books or journal articles that are not available through Ritter subscriptions. The library staff will do their best to obtain requested materials for you in a timely fashion.

BOOK requests: Books will be checked out after a period of quarantine.  We do not have a way to share ebooks between libraries.

ARTICLE requests: We will make a best attempt effort to fill article requests in a timely fashion.

To request articles not available through Ritter Library, click on the Request an Item link on the library homepage and then select "I need something to help me with my research" from the dropdown. Fill in the form and submit. You will receive an email acknowledging your request and a staff member will email the PDF if we can obtain it. You can also link to Interlibrary loan request forms within EBSCO databases.

Contact ill@bw.edu if you have a question about an Interlibrary Loan request.
