The death of William H. Avery, Brecksville, Ohio, occurred on July 24. Mr. Avery, who was a Civil War veteran, was 88 years old. He was a student in Baldwin-Wallace in 1866, following the close of the war. He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
